Notification Center & Daily Digest: Never Miss an RTO, Failed Booking or Low-Stock Alert
3 min read
Two features make sure nothing important slips past you. The notification bell in the top bar collects time-sensitive events — a returned shipment, a failed courier booking, low stock, settled COD, a new review — each with a one-click link to the screen where you act. The daily digest then emails your account owner a short recap of yesterday across the whole store. Together they complement the live dashboard Action Center: the Action Center shows what is outstanding right now, while notifications are a running history you clear as you go.
The notification bell
The bell sits in the top bar on every screen and shows a red badge with your unread count. Open it for your most recent notifications, newest first; each carries an icon coloured by urgency (red for problems, amber for warnings, green for good news), a short title and the time it arrived. Click any notification to jump straight to the relevant order, shipment, reorder list or review; use Mark all read to clear the badge in one go.
What raises a notification
Notifications are generated automatically as your operations run — you do not configure them. The system raises one whenever something needs your eyes.
- Order returned (RTO) — a courier marked a shipment as returned. See Returns & RTO.
- Booking failed — a courier rejected an automatic or bulk shipment booking so you can retry it.
- Low stock — the daily inventory check found products at or below their reorder point. See Reorder & Low-Stock Alerts.
- COD settled — a batch of cash-on-delivery shipments was reconciled. See COD Cash-Flow & Reconciliation.
- New review — a customer replied to a post-delivery review request; low ratings are flagged for you.
The daily digest email
Once a day the platform emails your organization owner a “daily summary” of the previous day: shipments delivered, returns, failed bookings, low-stock SKUs, new reviews with their average rating, and total COD still pending from couriers. If nothing happened, no email is sent — so an empty inbox simply means a quiet day. A button in the email opens your dashboard to dig in.

Frequently asked questions
Can I choose which notifications I get?
The bell shows all operational events for your organization; there are no per-type toggles. The WhatsApp order updates and review requests that some notifications relate to are configured separately in Order Notifications & Reviews.
Who receives the daily digest email?
It is sent to the organization owner’s email address, and is skipped entirely on days with no activity.
Do my staff see the same notifications?
Organization-wide alerts are visible to every team member, and each person’s read/unread state is their own — marking something read for yourself does not clear it for a colleague.
Troubleshooting
The digest email never arrives.
It only sends when there was activity yesterday and the owner has a valid email. Check your spam folder; a completely quiet day produces no email by design.
A notification links to a screen I cannot open.
The target feature may belong to a module that is off on your plan. Enable the module or ask an admin — see Subscription & Plans.
